Property Flirt: Can you guess the price?

There’s nothing I love more than a little nosey around someone else’s pad – and let me tell you, baby, this property perv has it all – right down to the hunky pool cleaner and the sexy gardener.

What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is a country corker. Its big, bold and beautiful. And as always, we’re going to have a bit of fun with it. I’ll drip feed you clues and gorgeous photos, and all you have to do is work out how much wonga you’re going to need to part with in order to secure the keys. Before you know it, Gary the gardener will be topping up your tanning lotion when he’s not trimming the box balls.

Ok, let’s do this. Welcome to Sleepy Hollow. First clue: this seven-bedroom pad is tucked away along a quiet country lane on the edge of Chiddingfold near Godalming. You get in via electric double gates, and it’s set on just over 15 acres of grounds that includes a swimming pool, tennis court, landscaped gardens and woodland.

The original house has been enlarged and upgraded over the years, but still has some of its original features, including a beautiful carved stone fireplace. And earlier when I said earlier it was big, I meant big. There are five – yes FIVE – reception rooms: a library, drawing room, family room, formal dining room, and large lobby, plus a kitchen breakfast room and two studies.

Upstairs, there are seven bedrooms in total, which includes an enormous master suite with French doors opening onto a balcony from where you can sip your morning tea and take in the views of your stunning garden and the surrounding countryside.

There’s also a guest suite, of two bedrooms and a bathroom which you reach via a separate staircase. Sounds like a good place to park the twenty-somethings if you ask me. Let’s face it, they’re never going to fly the nest with a home like this!

Ok, what else might you need to know. There is a pretty Victorian style greenhouse, and fenced vegetable gardens. Plus there’s a games room by the swimming pool. Obviously you’ll need somewhere to park the Jag, and there is a three-bay detached garage which serves that purpose well.

Righto! Are you ready with your final figure? Get it set in your mind, argue it out with the cat and click here to see how close you got!

Have your say
