The house has been hosting weddings for 30 years, and can be hired exclusively either as your wedding reception venue after the church or for your civil ceremony.
The stage is set from the moment you turn into the magnificent drive that leads up to Ramster House, which is surrounded by 25 acres of stunning gardens and peaceful woodland with views of lakes and hillsides.
You can have exclusive use of the Courtyard Garden, The Long Hall and the Great Drawing Room, as well as well as The Brick Hall as an alternative entrance for guests.
The Long Hall and Great Drawing Room are gorgeous beamed and panelled halls, over 100 feet long, and dating back to 1604. The Long Hall can accommodate up to 160 guess for a wedding breakfast or up to 200 for a stand-up reception, while next door, the Great Drawing Room is licensed for civil marriages, and can be arranged for any size of wedding up to 160 guests.
In the winter, a beautiful inglenook fireplace in the Long Hall can be set with a blazing log fire, while summer weddings can make the most of the secluded enclosed courtyard, which is ideal for pictures and reception drinks.
Every civil wedding ceremony at Ramster Hall is different, and is planned uniquely for the Bride and Groom. There’s a grand piano for as well as a built-in music system, and all catering is done by the in-house team.
