The Anchor on Ripley High Street, is one of Surrey’s oldest and most historic pubs, with 16th-century roots, and a reputation for providing the best hospitality for centuries.

With 2 AA rosettes, and a Bib Gourmand awarded by Michelin, The Anchor offers truly creative British fare, carefully selected wines, and real ales from local breweries and beyond.

Working closely with Executive Chef Steve Drake, Head Chef Michael Wall-Palmer, serves a simple and seasonal British menu, which includes an interesting range of bar snacks and exquisite desserts. Mike also hosts seasonal supper clubs on the last Sunday of every month, showcasing the new set menu as a special tasting dinner.  These are always very popular.

The Anchor also prides itself on excellent cocktails and a special Gin Menu.
