Simply Scones cafe
Muddy says: The freshly made scones come with a big dollop of homemade jam and cream in this café run by people with disabilities at The Grange in Bookham, as well as a proper pot of tea. Just how I like it!
Simply Scones is a pop-up tea room open every Tuesday afternoon in the Victorian Conservatory at The Grange in Bookham.
Scones are freshly made each day and served with homemade jam and cream, alongside proper pots of tea or coffee. Slices of freshly baked cake are also available.
The tea room is run by residents and day residents at The Grange supporting people with disabilities, and giving them a chance to learn new skills.
Simply Scones is open from 2pm-3.30pm – but this is a popular event so booking in advance is highly recommended.
While you’re visiting The Grange, you might also like to call into the Walled Garden shop for fresh produce and plants.
