The Grantley Arms, Wonersh

The Grantley Arms is a stunning, historic pub that has been an active part of Wonersh Village for nearly 500 years. The Grantley Arms is a stunning, historic pub that has been an active part of Wonersh Village for nearly 500 years.

We are a friendly, independently-owned and individually-styled pub that is casual enough to be comfortable, and yet smart enough to feel special.

We serve delicious freshly-prepared food all day – great for a snack, business lunch or casual dining – and offer a range of cask ales, fine wines, great cocktails, fairtrade coffee and teas. Drop in for a just a drink, or stay longer; we have newspapers to read and wifi for those who want to work.

In the summer months, our sunny terrace is great for alfresco dining; and in the cooler months, we’re cosy and warm with real fires and deep, squashy sofas and armchairs.

Our private dining room seats up to 22 and is available for that special dinner.

We think pubs are really for adults! But well behaved younger children are very welcome seated at a table in the bar and restaurant until 7.30pm. We have a children’s menu, some high chairs and a baby change facility.

We have a small car park and are a short taxi ride away from Guildford, Shalford, Chilworth and Godalming stations. Wonersh is also served by a good bus service from Guildford and Horsham.

Why not combine your visit with a walk in the Surrey Hills, we are a short hop from the Pilgrims Way, North Downs way and the Downs link walks.  The National Trusts’ Winkworth Arboretum and Shalford Mill are only a short drive away too!

We are open all day from 11 am. Food is served 12pm – 9.30pm every day (10pm Fri & Sat)
