Warren House, Kingston-upon-Thames

Muddy says: All the heritage you can handle at this handsome hotel nestled within four acres of landscaped gardens in Kingston-upon-Thames.

Originally built for the banker Hugh Hammersley and his large family, Warren House is a Grade II listed Victorian manor with a timeless elegance that makes it a perfect for weddings, private celebrations and corporate meetings. Inside it’s all authentic original fireplaces, double-height ceilings and bright airy spaces.

There are 46 bedrooms and suites altogether in a mix of traditional and contemporary styles, but all bearing the same marks of Victorian elegance. A charming touch for guests who stay in one of the feature rooms – they’ll be treated to a decanter of sherry. Oh, I say. How very Victorian!

Warren House sits in the grounds of the exclusive Coombe Estate and offers a range of garden games including Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Chess and Croquet. It also works in conjunction the neighbouring Coombe Wood Golf Club, and is just a five minute walk from Richmond Park.

The Warren House Restaurant offers an a la carte menu,  or you can chose from the Bar the All Day Dining Menu. For private celebrations and weddings, the chef will work with you to create a bespoke menu, using a wide selection of favourites which will perfectly suit the occasion.

Warren House is also available for exclusive use hire.
