Pedrick’s Zero Waste Shop, Caterham
Offering online shopping and delivery as well as in-store shopping, there’s not much you won’t find at Pedrick’s in Caterham. The usual refill goodies – pasta, grains, spices, tea, baking, dried fruit – are here, plus cleaning products, fresh produce and beauty goods. There is also a subscription service for organic fruit and veg boxes, and weekly supplies. And if you’re after a gift, you’ll find a range of eco-friendly gifts including candles, bath bombs and cards.

Bare + Fair, Woking
There’s a massive range of cupboard essentials here as well as toiletries and liquid refills. You can shop online or in-store. Take along your own container for food, toiletries and cleaning refills, or shop the refill alternatives.

Twin Larder, Ash
Inspired by a dream of creating a more greener world for her twin daughters, founder Karla Reynolds set up Twin Larder in Ash almost three years ago encouraging people to Rethink, Reuse and Refill. There’s an excellent range of household products including store cupboard food, cleaning products and toiletries. You’ll also find things like reusable metal straws, children’s books and bamboo socks. Open Wed-Sat from 10am-2pm. You can also shop online for click and collect.

A family-run eco shop and refill pantry. As well as seasonal fruit and veg, and refills for household cleaning products, you’ll also find locally baked artisan bread.

New Leaf Zero Waste, Reigate
Offering a range of plastic-free and natural essentials, New Leaf wants to make a reduced waste lifestyle more accessible – and more desirable – to everyone. As well as local organic produce, pantry essentials and household liquid refillables, there are also luxury goods like body lotion. You can shop in store or online with a click and collect service and delivery also available.

Solar Sisters, Guildford
Brand new on the sustainable shopping map are Solar Sisters, who opened their first eco shop in Guildford in October. Run by two sister, Nina and Lucy, you can expect locally-sourced organic whole foods, plastic-free household items and refillable laundry detergents. And there’s also a cafe were you can indulge in plant-based tea, coffee and cake.

Noel’s Farmshop, Sutton Green
Local fresh fruit and veg, free range meat and dairy, Surrey eggs and honey, artisan breads, gourmet foods, wholefoods and bread flours, plus refillable pantry goodies.

A green grocer, pantry and deli all rolled into one – as well as refillable pantry goodies, there’s a range of health food, wholefoods and South African foods. You can also get fresh juices, there’s a cafe where you’ll find homemade cakes, healthy breakfast bowls and toasted sandwiches, as well as a decent coffee. There’s also a Greenwise store in Ash.

One of the biggest gourmet food destinations in Surrey, this long established farm and farm shop sell home grown produce and locally made artisan products. There’s also a cheese and deli counter.

A family-owned zero waste shop in Dorking town centre offering up a variety of dried foods, home cleaning products, personal care products, fresh produce and other eco-friendly household items and gifts that are sustainable and free from plastic packaging. You can bring your own containers, or use the biodegradable paper bags in store.

A hub for local artisans and creatives to sell their goodies, there’s also a zero-waste refill station where you can stock up on household cleaning products and toiletries.
