Vinnie and Brigitte
We're a big fan of handmade things here at Muddy - and these funky pouches and cute kids' clothes by Surrey brand Vinnie & Brigitte get our big thumbs up.
Vinnie & Brigitte is the work of Abby Bishop Clarke who started making clothes for her children Vinnie, now 5, and Brigitte, 3, after she tried to find some cute cotton trousers on the high street – but couldn’t.
Soon she was making dresses, skirts, shorts and these super cool bibs. That was three years ago – and the brand has since expanded to include Vinnie & Brigitte Accessories, a range that includes these popular eye masks and pouches.
Look how cute and colourful and cool these pouches are! And I can think 100 uses for them. Well, okay maybe not quite 100 uses – but there’s no doubting they are versatile.
The pouches come in two sizes – small and medium. The small pouch is perfect for keeping all those bits together that seem to float around loose at the bottom of your handbag – you know the things I’m talking about – keys, phone, make-up.
They’d also make a super-stylish clutch bag for a night out. And for kids, a gorgeously original pencil case.
The medium pouch is a very stylish way to store your nappies and wipes while you’re out. They can also be lined with water-resistant nylon, making them a fab little toiletries bag.
I’m also loving these cool eye-masks – they’re lined in plump soft wadding and come with a funky gold and black strap. These are just what I need for those nights I wake at 4am to a day-lit room! They’re also great for holidays – especially those long haul flights.
Abby makes everything to order – which means you get to choose which fabric you like. And she’s got plenty of gorgeous fabric designs, including a range of Liberty prints.
