Don’t forget when you’re working out the price that Shalford is just a few miles from the centre of Guildford (where direct trains to London Waterloo take about a perfectly commutable 35 minutes), there’s a fine selection of schools nearby (including Holy Trinity, Royal Grammar, Guildford High, Lanesborough, Tormead, St Catherine’s, Cranleigh, Charterhouse), and it’s pretty close to the North Downs Way.
