Property flirt

Is there anything more fun than nosing around other people's houses, imagining yourself in situ and guessing the price? Er, nope! Let the snooping commence.

Right property pervs it’s time to look through the keyhole of a mega des res, so let’s all push our noses up to the windows, peer in the cupboards, knock a few walls knowledgeably, and then the fun bit – guess how much it’s worth!

Today’s house of dreams is a modern character home with four bedrooms (including a spiffy master suite that includes a big bathroom and separate dressing room), three living areas plus a large study, and a pretty mature garden with a summer house.

Phil and Kirstie would be impressed because this property is all about location, location, location. It’s just a stone’s throw from Oxted town centre and an eight minute walk to Oxted mainline station which will have you in central London in under 40 minutes. There are good primary schools in town, and you’re surrounded by independent schools including Lingfield College, Woldingham School and Caterham School.

This gorgeous gaff is on a leafy road with a sympathetic mix of large period and modern properties. It’s also just a few second’s walk from Master Park, the Freedom Leisure Centre and the Oxted Everyman Cinema.

Inside, the ground floor of this gorgeous gaff flows from a large entrance hall with vaulted ceiling via a family room (that could also be used as a formal dining room) to a kitchen that leads to a triple-aspect split level dining room with French doors leading to a large dining terrace that looks like it’s been made for entertaining.

There’s also a large sitting room with bi-fold doors that lead out to a lovely mature garden, and a separate study, plus internal access to the garage via a laundry room.

The first floor has a homely hotel vibe with stunning master bedroom, walk-in dressing room, large ensuite with a freestanding bath and private balcony – perfect for reciting Shakespeare or ogling the garden view, with its pool and shaded hot tub. Slip into your one-piece, waft about in a kaftan and sip G&Ts until the sun goes down. Ahhhhhh that’s better.

There are another three bedrooms upstairs, as well as a large family bathroom. And in the garden there’s a separate summer house.

That’s a lot of house in a great location. So how much is it on for, do you think? Best guesses in the comments box below (or if you insist playing cheatypoos, then click here to find out).
