Well hello, handsome

Lovely face, nice rear and fabulously proportioned. Does this looker get a 10 out of 10? Let's check him out together.

We get to see some pretty stunning properties here at Muddy – but just occasionally there’s one that I’d sell my grandmother for. And this is it!

So please smile coquettishly and / or doff your hat to this handsome dwelling set on 2.3 acres of established and secluded grounds in the heart of Woldingham. Play the game and guess the price – no cheatypoos – wait until the end.

There’s so much to tell you about this property – called Badgers Bank – that I’m not sure where to start. So first, a bit about Woldingham, in case you don’t know it. Woldingham is your quintessential English village just a few miles from Oxted, and less than a mile from Caterham. Woldingham station is 2 miles away with direct trains to central London, and schools-wise you’ve got Woldingham School for girls, and the co-ed Caterham School nearby, as well as Hazlewood Prep school.

The house at Badgers Bank was designed and built by the current owner, and although it’s undoubtably modern, it also oozes character and charm – from the rustic flit and mellow brick to the clay tiled roof and brick inglenook fireplace and oak beams.

It’s a whopper of a house, at just under 6000 square feet, and not a single detail has been overlooked in its design. It was planned with wow-factor in mind – and this it has in droves.

You arrive at the house via a long driveway through bespoke wrought iron electrically operated gates. There’s a triple garage with direct access to the house – so you can drive right in. There’s no getting wet and cold on a blustery day.

Inside the front door – itself a gorgeous solid timber specimen – you’ll immediately get the sense of space and light. A large reception hall leads right into the drawing room with triple or straight ahead into the stunning kitchen breakfast room which features a vaulted ceiling and bi-fold doors that open onto a large deck area.

Downstairs you’ll also find a family living room, dining room, study and utility room.

Tip-toe up the stairs and you’ll find four double bedrooms – each with an ensuite bathroom, plus a large loft room and family shower-room. The master bedroom has been beautifully designed with a vaulted ceiling a dressing area and built-in wardrobes and a ensuite bathroom with a separate wet-room style shower.

A self-contained annex – accessed via a separate staircase from the main hall – includes a bedroom with an ensuite shower room and a living room with a kitchenette – the perfect place to park the in-laws when they come to stay – or a the ideal quarters for a live-in nanny or au pair.

Outside, you’ve got large grounds and gardens and – the crème de la crème – an outdoor heating swimming pool, a brand new pool house with its own studio gym and changing rooms. There’s also a barn.

So how much do you think this baby’s worth. There’s a lot of house here – and it’s in a highly sought-after area within easy commuting distance of London. Find out here.
