1. Social skills
Starting at any age children who perform together, really bond and become more comfortable meeting new people.
When you have PA lessons, you can access the skills you’ve learnt to boost your confidence, whether you need to deliver a speech, make someone laugh (laugh at yourself), find it easier to try new things.
Coming to PA classes means, at least once a week that child will be doing a full hour of dance, and increasing their strength, flexibility and overall fitness. This is without the movements that go with the song or drama piece.
In all subjects of the PA children develop ways to improve their memory; learning lines, lyrics and movements, who speaks before you, when do you have to go where on the stage, where you light is. These tactics are easily transferred into everyday life.
