Muddy says: The former home of Lord Beaverbrook is now a luxury country house hotel with 35 boutique bedrooms, a luxury spa as well as a Japanese grill and Anglo-Italian restaurant.
Nestled in the pretty Surrey Hills just a few miles from Leatherhead you’ll find Beaverbrook – the former home of press baron Lord Beaverbrook. It’s your quintessential English country estate.
Redefining the traditional country club experience, Beaverbrook is set on 470 acres of private unspoilt countryside with vibrant gardens and the highest quality amenities.
There are two restaurants and a total of 35 boutique rooms spread across the The House, the Garden House and the Coach House.
The House offers 18 individually styled bedrooms, and it’s here that you’ll also find the fine dining Japanese restaurant.
The Garden House has 11 cosy bedrooms – and the an Anglo-Italian restaurant – all set within a walled garden.
The Coach House, located next to the luxury spa, has six contemporary rooms and suites. The suites are on the ground floor and are pet friendly with the option to connect and have a separate living room and bedroom with a picturesque private terrace – so they’re ideal for families.
And of course, there’s the Coach House Health Club and Spa which includes including swimming pools, treatment rooms and an exercise programme and is open to hotel guests, members and day spa guests.
There’s also a School of Cookery at Beaverbrook, offering up a variety of courses from sushi making, pasta from scratch, chocolate work and how to cook steak or game.
