Denbies Wine Estate
Muddy says: The rolling Surrey hills and verdant green vines make for a stunningly gorgeous backdrop to a wedding day. Add a candlelit wine cellar and you’ve got romance with a capital R.
Finding a venue that ticks all the boxes for a wedding is a tricky business but I may have just hit ‘I do’ gold here in the heart of the Surrey Hills.
Set on 265 acres of vineyards with stunning views out over the vineyard, Box Hill and the North Downs, Denbies offers everything a loved-up couple might want for the wedding day – from the romance of tying the knot at England’s biggest vineyard, to having your photographs taken in the midst of the vineyards, pre-reception drinks in the cellar and celebrating in style in either the Conservatory Atrium, Garden Room or the Gallery Restaurant.
The Conservatory Atrium can seat up to 250 guests and the Garden Room can accommodate parties of up to 70 seated guests, or if you’ve got a particularly big guest list the areas can be opened out to accommodate up to 350 guests. For a more intimate affair The Gallery Restaurant, which has the stunning views, can seat between 30 and 60 guests.
And there’s no need to leave the venue when the party’s over – there’s accommodation at Denbies Farmhouse for the bride and groom, plus an additional six bedrooms for the bridal party.
As you’d expect of a wedding venue specialist, Denbies has a specialist wedding team who will help you plan your perfect day.
