Muddy says: Ahoy there captain! Go Boats is a fun self-drive boating experience on the Thames River – you’re at the helm so you can choose your own route.
GoBoat has bases in Kingston and Paddington in London – and it’s all about freedom and fun on the water.
No boating experience is needed, they’ll teach you everything you need to know before you set sail. It’s a great way to see London and Surrey from a whole different viewpoint whether you head downriver towards Teddington Lock or along the Thames River to Hampton Court Palace passing Raven’s Ait and Thames Ditton Island.
The boats are cleverly designed with a large picnic table in the middle for passengers to gather around – so it’s a super social experience. Sustainability is also valued, with 80% of the volume of the boat made from recycled plastic, and all wood sourced sustainably.
Each boat fits up to 8 people, including children and dogs.
