Barb Jungr and John McDaniel perform the Beatles

In this exciting new collaboration, two giants of music, jazz and cabaret from both sides of the Atlantic come together. Award-winning vocalist Barb Jungr, and Grammy and Emmy award-winning arranger and pianist John McDaniel investigate the Beatles’ song catalogue in their own unique and inimitable fashion.


Olive Edis: War Photographer
■ Farnham Maltings ■ Tues 6 June – 26 Aug

Olive Edis was one of the most important photographers of the early 20th century, and Britain’s first female war photographer. The Road to Ypres explores the unique collection of photographs taken by Edis during her month-long tour of war-torn Europe in March 1919.


Camberley International Festival
■ Camberley Town Centre venues ■ Wed 7 – Sat 17 June

Ten days and nights of music, comedy, dance, film and food take place across Camberley town centre from, kicking off with a free launch event – ‘Z Cars’ Party – on Wed 7 June at Camberley Theatre. The party is co-hosted by Ian Cullen, who played DC Joe Skinner in the iconic BBC series from 1969-75. ‘Pieces’, an episode from 1973, will be shown in the main auditorium and followed by a Q&A session with Ian and other ‘Z Cars’ cast and crew including Bernard Holley, Tara Ward, Margot Hayhoe, and Ann Davies.

One of the most iconic and innovative singers and lyricists in popular music, with an original vocal brilliance of breath-taking elegance. Guests will be treated to classic hits from the Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music back catalogue.


And Evening at the Races with Clean Bandit ft Louisa Johnson
■ Sandown Racecourse ■ Thurs 8 June

Grammy Award winning pop/classical fusion group Clean Bandit with Louisa Johnson will headline Sandown Park on 8 June. The set is 75mins, starting about 15mins after the last race has run. Louisa will play a 20-min solo set and then as well as tracks with Clean Bandit.Clean Bandit will do the rest of the time.


James Morrison
■ Hampton Court Palace Festival ■ Thurs 8 June

Brit Award winner James Morrison has become one of the biggest-selling male solo artists in the UK. After a string of chart-topping hits including ‘You Give Me Something’, Morrison received wide critical acclaim for his latest album Awakening which has already gone platinum. Fresh from his sold-out UK tour, the soulful voiced singer-songwriter will play songs from the new album as well as the classic hits we know and love.


Amy MacDonald
■ Hampton Court Palace Festival ■ Fri 9 June

The Scottish singer-songwriter, still only 29 years old, has released 3 albums and sold over 5 million records worldwide – including 1.5 million here in the UK. Her single “This Is The Life” from the album of the same name, was her most successful reaching number one in five European countries. As part of her first UK tour in 4 years, Amy will perform favourites old and new, including songs from the new album ‘Under Stars’ which debuted at no.2 in the UK charts.


Some People v Reginald D Hunter
■ Dorking Halls ■ Sat 10 June

He’s been labelled stand up comedy’s coolest customer, and after tours in Ireland and Europe, Hunter brings his new show to the UK. His searingly honest material has garnered him a popular fanbase that spans the generations, though this show isn’t for kids. It’s 18+ only.
