Olive Edis: War Photographer

Olive Edis was one of the most important photographers of the early 20th century, and Britain’s first female war photographer. The Road to Ypres explores the unique collection of photographs taken by Edis during her month-long tour of war-torn Europe in March 1919. farnhammaltings.com

 

Camberley International Festival

Ten days and nights of music, comedy, dance, film and food take place across Camberley town centre from, kicking off with a free launch event – ‘Z Cars’ Party – on Wed 7 June at Camberley Theatre. The party is co-hosted by Ian Cullen, who played DC Joe Skinner in the iconic BBC series from 1969-75. ‘Pieces’, an episode from 1973, will be shown in the main auditorium and followed by a Q&A session with Ian and other ‘Z Cars’ cast and crew including Bernard Holley, Tara Ward, Margot Hayhoe, and Ann Davies. camberley-international-festival.com
