The Rural Crafts Association Loseley House Christmas Fair

The Loseley Christmas fair provides the perfect opportunity for an enjoyable Christmas shopping experience. The Crafts are sourced from talented makers and designers from all over the UK. There will be unique and special presents to purchase, such as stunning clothes, accessories, leather bags, belts and dazzling jewellery. Elegant candles, platter bowls and specialist foods will also be available, to celebrate the festive season and entertain in style.


Gag House Comedy Superstars

Gag House Comedy Superstars returns to Guildford after the sell out show which opened the Guildford Fringe Festival in July. Headlining is the award-winning comedian Aisling Bea, and she’s joined by Charlie Baker, Jarlath Regan and Phil Wang. Tickets are £22.50.

Caterham Beer Festival

Calling all Surrey beer lovers… Here’s your chance to sample more than 50 different real ales and cider. Not a beer fan? There’s even a Prosecco Bar! This year’s Festival will be held again at the iconic Soper Hall in Harestone Valley Road. This is a non-profit event, and last year they raised over £12,000 for local charities. I’ll raise a glass to that! Tickets are £5.


Arts and Craft Fair

Wonder around The Lightbox Arts and Craft fair with mulled wine and a mince pie. Have a browse through the homemade crafts including jewellery, paintings, glasswork and ceramics, and enjoy the ukulele band and acoustic singing. Free entry.


Turner in Surrey

J.M.W. Turner’s work was produced on his various travels on the Thames, Wey Navigation and in the county of Surrey, prior to the London boundary changes of 1889. This exhibition will explore how Turner retreated into nature, capturing both the beauty of the landscape and the changing effects of nature. There will also be a rare opportunity to see the artists personal possessions, including: travelling watercolor box and watercolor palette. £4.50 Day pass. Under 18’s free.


Winter Exhibition – Art & Craft Inspiration for the Festive Season

Known for selecting contemporary art and craft of the highest quality, the gallery team has handpicked artists and makers from across the country. The exhibition presents glass, ceramics, jewellery, sculpture, prints and paintings by more than 50 talented established and emerging artists. A must-see Christmas show for all novice and expert lovers of art and craft.


Contemporary Textiles

Motif cushions by Sally Nencini

Presenting an array of knitted, woven, printed, felted, and stitched textiles for you and your home, this exhibition showcases the range of techniques within the field of textiles. The makers chosen for this exhibition are concerned primarily with the process, blending a combination of traditional techniques and contemporary design. Highlights include Bridget Bailey’s 3D entomological sculptures inspired by her millinery background as well as luxury silk scarves by Cornish based designer Claire Armitage.
