THEATRE: Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage
■ New Victoria Theatre, Woking ■ Mon 18 – Sat 23 March

Dirty Dancing is back, so if you missed it when it toured last year now’s your chance to catch it. Exploding with heart-pounding music, breathtaking emotion and super sexy dancing, the love story of Baby and Johnny features loads of hit songs. 

THEATRE: A Song at Twilight
■ Rose Theatre, Kingston ■ Tue 19 – Sat 23 March

If you missed it at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre earlier in the month, catch this production in Kingston. Simon Callow and Jane Asher star in Noël Coward’s story about secrets, regrets and missed opportunities. It’s the story of a famous author, Sir Hugo Latymer, who is is growing old, and rude with it.

Belgravia Art Gallery is celebrating the arrival of spring with a new exhibition called Spring. There’s lots of new work by gallery artists Sir Peter Blake, Jan Coutts, Dion Salvador Lloyd, John Illsley and others, plus paintings by new gallery artists Jan Erika Designs, Sophie Louise White, Charley Aiken and Rory Browne. KIDS’ THEATRE: Shrek The Musical

After the success of Shrek on screen I can only imagine what Shrek must be like in real life… Pretty big and green I suspect. Join Shrek and Donkey as they set off on a quest to rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona. Based on the story and characters from the DreamWorks Animation film, this hilarious and spectacular production intertwines magical fairy-tale and irresistible adventure for endless romance and laughs. Winner of the 2018 WhatsOnStage Award, this exuberant 50th anniversary production of the legendary rock musical Hair bursts in full psychedelic glory, direct from a sell-out London run.

COMEDY: Lost Voice Guy – I’m Only in it for the Parking

The Britain’s Got Talent winner Lee Ridley may not be able to talk, but he’s definitely got something to say. The first stand up comedian to use a communication aid he’s been proclaimed ‘Laugh out loud funny’ by The Independent.

FESTIVAL: Love Wine Festival Guildford
■ Harbour Hotel, Guildford ■ Sat 23 March

Love wine? Then this is the day for you. There’ll be wine tasting, wine walks and a wine masterclasses, giving you the opportunity to discover more about wines  from within our own backyard in Surrey and as far as California and Moldova. Surrey producers Denbies Wine Estate, High Clandon, Albury Vineyard and Greyfriars will be there. Tickets are £20 for a session from 1-4pm or £25 for the 5-8pm session.

THEATRE: Showstopper! The Improvised Musical

Spontaneous musical comedy at its finest, this one come straight from the West End. A brand new show is created from scratch at each performance as the audiences suggestions are transformed into and all-singing, all-dancing production. Sounds like it could be utterly brilliant – if it doesn’t all go horribly wrong!
