Face to Face: The Figurative Sculpture of Sean Henry
■ The Lightbox, Woking ■ ends 5 Nov

Seated Figure, 2015, Bronze and oil paint, and Seated Figure, 2015, Bronze and exterior paint © Sean Henry

Internationally recognised sculptor Sean Henry returns to Woking, the place of his birth, with a show of artwork made over the last 15 years which will be exhibited at the gallery and in outdoor locations across the centre of town. Henry’s work is highly realistic and essentially modern in its choice of subject matter, colour and materials. His figures – often anonymous men and women – have an emphatic physicality which allows room for the viewer to draw their own interpretations.

For Love or Money
■ Rose Theatre, Kingston ■ Tues 31 Oct – Sat 4 Nov

A deliciously wicked tale of greed and rivalry brings the curtain down on Barrie Rutter’s tenure as artistic director and founder of Northern Broadsides theatre company at the helm. Fittingly, the production is set in a small Yorkshire town, in the 1920s. It’s been getting fabulous reviews, so a good one to catch while you can.

Tango Moderno
■ New Victoria Theatre, Woking ■ Wed 1 Nov- Sat 4 Nov

It takes two to Tango! Or why not take the whole girl gang to Tango Moderno, a hot new stage spectacular from world champion dancers and Strictly favourites Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace.  To generate a performance that smoulders with desire, Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango are fused together.  Tickets from £20.

Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-long-a
■ The Harlequin Theatre and cinema, Redhill ■ Fri 3 Nov

Sing along to the new adaption of Disney’s iconic fairy tale ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Sing-a-long-a hosts will start with a pre-show where they’ll warm up your voice, teach you hand actions and show you how to use the famous Sing-a-long-a props bag. There’s also a fancy-dress competition, so now’s your chance to be a real-life princess.  Tickets are: £15. Family tickets available.
