<p>Discover a Tudor Christmas with a special open day at West Horsley Place on Sunday 1 December where the most prestigious rooms will be open. Wander through and see this beautiful manor house full of Christmas charm and dressed for the festive season. <p>Hop on board the Santa Express to meet Father Christmas in his traditional workshop at Bocketts Farm from Thurs 21 November to Tues 24 December. There&#8217;s plenty to see. Kids can complete the trail, make their own reindeer food to take home, get creative in a crafty corner and even step inside a giant Snowglobe for a festive family photo! Included in your Christmas event entrance is also all usual farm activities including animals, heated soft play, acres of outdoor adventure play and the yard to buy a Christmas tree and enjoy a winter warmer to drink and toast marshmallows. <p>The sumptuous Edwardian house at Polesden Lacey is elaborately dressed for a Christmas masquerade ball this festive season.  See the 20ft tree in the Grand Hall and enjoy immersive scenes throughout the house. Outside, ride on a vintage hand-carved carousel. Bring your winter woollies as there is an outdoor trail to explore, themed on Grizwald the Griffin. <p>Inspired by the festive song, The 12 Days of Christmas Trail at Painshill will see visitors searching out each of the gifts mentioned; from two turtle doves through to 12 drummers drumming and of course, a partridge in a pear tree! With a touch of nostalgia, figures will be made from traditional wooden materials and each one will be individually hand-painted.
