I love nothing more than a sticky-nose around a gorgeous country house. Mr Darcy included with the deeds would be a bonus, but I&#8217;m not greedy. Not today, anyway!

A magnificent vaulted atrium is at the centre of it all with stunning far-reaching views across the property&#8217;s own 5.75 acres to the North Downs. It&#8217;s a statement room if ever we saw one with an unusual open fireplace in the middle.

The house is almost entirely set on the first floor, but there&#8217;s a spiral staircase in the grand entry hall that leads up to the first floor where you&#8217;ll find a billiards room and cinema room plus a dressing room. Because&#8230; well why not have a dressing room if you can!

A house with entertaining in mind must have a kitchen to go with it. And this one&#8217;s a whopper, with no shortage of fancy appliances sitting among the Mark Wilkinson cabinets. Of the four remaining bedrooms all have fitted wardrobes and two share a Jack and Jill-style shower room. There are also two more shower rooms.

First up&#8230; the house is accessed via a gated, and the gardens are private and secure which makes it the perfect spot for celebrity types looking for a place to hide. And once you&#8217;re here in Dormans Park, why would you want to leave?

The larger towns of East Grinstead and Oxted are also pretty close by &#8211; 5 miles and 9 miles respectively. And you&#8217;re well-connected to London with great rail link. Dormans mainline station is less than a mile away with direct services to London Bridge and London Victoria.
