Move over mass-produced stationery. Making Meadows is here! And this is basically what happens when countryside daydreaming, hand-painted florals and an eco conscience collide in Surrey.



Founded in 2019 by illustrator Samantha Marando, the brand started under the name Okey Dokey Design (adorably chaotic, we approve). But like any good creative journey, it didn’t stay still for long. A bit of experimenting here, a bit of listening to customers there, and a very clear theme began to emerge: a shared love of nature, wildlife and that slightly nostalgic feeling of country living done properly. By 2022, the shift was official &#8211; new name, new website, and Making Meadows was born.



It suits it perfectly.

At its heart, this is beautifully handcrafted stationery. Writing paper, greeting cards and gifts all begin life as Samantha’s hand-painted illustrations, inspired by florals, woodland creatures and subtle nods to the natural world.



And it&#8217;s It’s also good for the environment. FSC-certified paper, recycled kraft envelopes and plastic-free packaging come as standard, with everything designed, made and dispatched from their Surrey studio.
