<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-what-where">WHAT? WHERE?</h2>



Are you free for Sunday morning yoga in the gardens of a luxury country manor house hotel in the swanky Surrey Hills? Erm… hell yeah! The chance to escape the dishes and dreary Sunday chores? Where do I sign? 



It wasn’t even the ‘swanky Surrey Hills’ that did it. But it was perhaps the chance to waft around the grounds of a manor house and pretend, albeit just for an hour, that I was the lady of the manor and a green-juice-drinking yoga devotee that made me jump up in joy. 



Yoga in a normal studio might not have had that same reaction perhaps. But the thought of being transported to the calm away from the craziness that is life was too tempting. And the chance to do exercise at the same time&#8230; well it was a class that most busy working women of a certain age would relish. And boy did I relish!



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-vibe">THE VIBE</h2>

Sunday self care for those wanting a bit of ‘me’ time in special surroundings. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with a standard class in a room with mirrors and bendy yogis. 



But there is something incredibly spiritual and restoring about practising yoga in nature. Even the drizzle failed to dampen everyone’s inner yogi – every breath we took, brought with it clarity and peace. 



There were just half a dozen of us in this Sunday group. A perfect number because you felt that one-on-one attention. But I would imagine that even with more people you would still experience a high level of attentiveness. As the breeze fluttered and the gentle raindrops caressed our faces, everyone’s inner yogi was smiling at this perfect way to gently wind down on a Sunday. &nbsp;

Perfect for all levels. Our warm and engaging instructor led with enthusiasm and humour. Nothing was taken too seriously and she ensured we were in perfect poses by checking each of us individually, and helping those who were more advanced in level, perfect the ultimate handstand.

If I could, I would prescribe this Sunday morning yoga class to anyone who needs a bit of TLC ahead of a busy week. The location is truly what makes this yoga class stand out from any other &#8211; plus the almost one-on-one teaching. With coffee, tea and juices included in the price of the session, it’s a must for anyone that not only needs some calm but also for anyone who’s keen to meet other similar minded wannabe local yogis who want an hour or two of peace and quiet away from domesticity.&nbsp;



Good for: Those who need to some restoration and need to prioritise themselves for an hour – and prefer a smaller class and in beautiful surroundings.



Not for: Those not a fan of nature!
