Set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s magnificent Tudor mansion, the Hampton Court Palace Festival is a truly unique series of open-air concerts, which this year runs from Friday 10 June to Saturday 25 June.

It’s been running almost 30 years, and during that time has welcomed some of the world’s biggest musical superstars to the stage including Liza Minelli, Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Van Morrison, Bryan Adams, Frankie Valli and Katherine Jenkins, to name just a few.

The main stage in Base Court is a 3,000-seat alfresco auditorium, and each day of the festival there are performances on The Garden Stage by emerging singer-songwriters and accosting acts.

Gig-goers arrive at the Palace Gardens where they can plonk down a rug and enjoy a spot of picnicking – there are a range of yummy street food options. Or if you really fancy pushing the boat out, Waterside Gazebos are available for those who want to sit back and relax in luxury.

There are also exclusive dining and corporate entertainment packages on offer, in the palace’s gorgeous state apartments.

Who’s playing in 2022? So glad you asked – here’s the full line-up:

Elbow (Fri 10 + Sat 11 June), McFly (Wed 15 June), George Benson (Thurs 16 June), Jack Savoretti (Fri 17 June), Ministry of Sound Classical (Sat 18 June), Kacey Musgraves (Wed 22 June), The Human League (Thurs 23 June), Michale Ball and Alfie Boy (Fri 24 June), Crowded House (Sat 15 June).
