Hobbledown, Epsom and Hobbledown Heath, Hounslow

The original Hobbledown adventure park in Epsom has a sibling – Hobbledown Heath in Hounslow. Two family attractions with everything from high ropes to swinging lemurs. Two worlds of mystical fun for children aged 2 – 13.

Hobbledown Heath, Hounslow

The newest adventure park in the family, Hobbledown Heath, opened in Hounslow in summer 2022 bringing more of the mystical Hobblers’ adventures. There are four themed villages, Buckbridge Market, Cribble Creek, Wilderness Wood and The Mining Village, which are set in over 100 acres of beautiful woodland and meadows.

There’s a wide collection of farm and zoo animals from goats, alpacas, meerkats, lemurs, and many other exotic and traditional farm animals. Hobbledown Heath is also home to the Coda Falconry Centre which houses a great range of birds of prey. Visit and enjoy public flying demonstrations, meet and greets, or you can even book your own face-to-face experience!

A magical world of adventure continues in the Great Barn, west London’s biggest indoor play arenas where kids will love the nets and towers to climb, tunnels to wiggle through and slides to scoot down. There’s also a dedicated toddler area for under 3s, plus a fab café where grown-ups can sit and have a coffee or bite to eat.

Hobbledown, Epsom

The original Hobbledown – based on the children’s book written by Angela Kecojevi – is based on a 50-acre site at Epsom. It’s a fabulous and fun day out for the family with plenty to keep everyone entertained whatever the weather. Visit the farm and zoo where you’ll find a wide collection of animals from armadillos to meerkats, capybara to camels. There’s an indoor play barn, adventure play villages, jumping pillows, tunnels and swings.

For those who like adventure, there’s a high ropes course plus Fern’s Castle with tunnels, towers, slides and a dragon at the top.

The Thinkery performance space is where you can meet the real-life Hobbledown characters, including Fern the Fairy, Professor Topperpot, and Huck, Tipp and Eliza the Hobblers. Special events are held in the Thinkery including storytelling and educational animal sessions.

For toddlers, the Imaginarium offers a world of sensory and water play plus creepy-crawly caves and an interactive savannah.

Both adventure parks offer birthday party packages throughout the year, as well as themed events during the school half term and holidays. And at Christmas there’s an enchanting Christmas village featuring a magical Santa’s Grotto, reindeer, twinkling lights and treat trails. The Santa’s Grotto runs at both Hobbledown Epsom and Hobbledown Heath Hounslow from Sat 23 Nov to Tues 24 Dec.
