Part of the first hotel group in the UK to achieve B Corp certification, Pennyhill Park shines for its 124 individually-designed bedrooms with one-of-a-kind bathrooms – including horizontal showers and a snazzy eight-person jacuzzi. Spread over a serene 45,000 sq ft, the spa is where you come to feel your best. Take your pick from 23 luxury treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and state-of-the-art fitness suites with over 50 classes. If that doesn’t melt your stress away, there are four newly opened Cabanas overlooking the spa grounds kitted with large copper baths, with spa jets, loungers, and, crucially, sunbathing decks. Pennyhill is a place where you can be at your very best, every day, without lifting a finger.

To fuel your downtime, the spa restaurant, Themis, serves a relaxed brunch and tasty bites throughout the day where you can dine whilst robe and slippered-clad, before then returning to the pamper zone for more R&R. There’s more relaxed dining at the farm-to-fork Hillfield restaurant, which boasts modern British dishes whipped up with locally sourced produce. But if it’s a polished sit-down fine dining experience, Latymer is the flavour of refinement. Sitting in the oldest part of the hotel, it’s all decked in period grandeur – from wooden panelling to beamed ceilings, plus sprinklings of modern decor.

As for the food, Latymer proudly boasts a Michelin star and is one of just a handful of restaurants in the UK to hold 5 AA Rosettes. Head Chef Steve Smith bagged his first Michelin twinkler at only age 24 and has since swept up awards in kitchens across the country. Impressive right? We can’t think of a better staycay spot.
