PizzaExpress, Woking

Centrally located in Woking town centre just a short jaunt from the theatres and shopping centre, PizzaExpress serves up a whole lot more than just pizza – from salad bowls to classic lasagne, calzone to cannelloni.

Apparently a favoured dining spot of Prince Andrew. True story!

The restaurant on Goldsworth Road has had a glow up, and as well as an impressive open kitchen where you can feast your eyes on the live-acting dough slinging, there’s an all-new covered patio area.  Interiors are stylish, leaning towards industrial chic with exposed brick walls, vintage industrial light fittings, polished timber floors and plenty of greenery.

Whether you’re gathering the family for a meal, lunching with the girls, refuelling after shopping, having a pre-theatre bite, or looking for your next date night spot, PizzaExpress ticks all the boxes. And with favourites like dough balls (extra garlic butter for me, please!), the American hot and the sloppy Giuseppe, plus a cracking cocktail list everyone’s smiling.

Fancy pudding? There’s also a fab dessert menu – white chocolate and salted caramel pizza dolce anyone? – plus the kids’ Piccolo menu. Vegan and gluten-free diets are also catered to, and if you’re looking for fewer calories, the Leggera menu has you covered.
