The Cricketers on the Green is an award-winning British pub at the heart of the local community in Pirbright, overlooking the village green and duck pond. Set in a pretty village location, it’s also handily near Guildford and Woking in Surrey. As well as the charming pub, there’s also a delightful Yurt café.

With a strong focus on food, there’s a wide choice of menu – including breakfast, Saturday brunch, afternoon tea, sandwiches and baps and a la carte, plus a dedicated Sunday menu. What they all have in common is the use of seasonal and high-quality ingredients that champions local producers, farmers and growers and is sustainably sourced.

In the Yurt Café there’s a selection of seasonal, fresh, and local food in the form of  brunches, lunches and homemade sweet treats. It’s open 9am-5pm daily.

Back in inside the pub though, there are plenty of pretty spots to pull up a pew, all gorgeously turned out, from the buzzy Pig Shed to the more formal dining space called The Old Block with plenty of original features. Private dining is also possible in the Cabinet Room which has space for 10 people seated.

Outside at The Cricketers on the Green there’s a beer garden at the back, and also tables and benches at the front overlooking the village green.

Just drinking? There’s plenty here for you with a choice of hand selected wine, beer and spirits.
