Tucked away in the Surrey countryside in the pretty village of Chiddingfold, this charming and traditional village inn boasts 12 boutique bedrooms, a cracking bar and an all-day menu.

There’s plenty here to satisfy every last foodie. It starts with an all-day brunch with all the classics (Eggs Benedict, Smashed avo and poached eggs, American waffles are just some of the temptations). There’s a tapas menu – perfect for a solo starter, as a sharing bundle or if you fancy a snack. And of course, there’s a menu of classics – think steaks, burgers, fish and chips, and pie of the day. There’s a daily changing specials menu and the chef uses fresh, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Everything is cooked from scratch.

A set lunch menu is available Monday to Saturday. It’s one-course for £12.95, two-courses for £15.95 or three-courses for £18.95. Or for those with a sweet tooth, there’s the option of a cream tea or afternoon tea.

Planning on bringing the kids? Don’t sweat it, the children’s menu has great variety and lots of veggies. Oh, and there’s also chocolate brownies, sticky toffee pudding and ice-cream. Yum!

No need to drive home after your foodie feast. Book into one of 12 boutique bedrooms, each individually decorated in a cosy country style and sporting all the luxe mod-cons you could ask for. There’s Egyptian cotton sheets, wi-fi, Nespresso machine, fluffy towels and delicious bathroom toiletries.

Oh, and fun fact: the pub is named after the swans on the village pond.
