<p>There are plans afoot for the popular <a href="https://www.royalparks.org.uk/visit/parks/richmond-park/roehampton-cafe">café </a>in Richmond Park to be demolished and replaced with a larger more modern building to cope with huge demand. The current site, installed in 2004 after a fire destroyed the original buildings, was designed to be temporary but is still standing twenty years later! Proposals for the new café include indoor and outdoor seating, with improvements to the surrounding landscape, new loos and a new entrance gate for visitors to the huge park. Lets hope they get the go ahead.</p>

<p>If you’ve been gripped by <a href="https://www.channel4.com/programmes/celebrity-sas-who-dares-wins">Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins</a> this week you’ll recognise ex-England Rugger captain and Surrey resident Chris Robshaw. But being a tough guy isn’t the only string to his bow &#8211; Chris has just joined Oxted prep school Hazelwood as their <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C_dTNKSIzM9/">new sports consultant</a>. Chris will be onsite one day a week working closely with pupils and staff offering his expertise in all core sports and fitness, (and er..fixtures might suddenly get a bit more popular with some of the mums!). Enjoy the backdrop of cliffs, acres of mature woodland, walking trails and an abundance of birdlife to improve your mental health. <p>It&#8217;s celebrations for popular alfresco exercise facility <a href="https://wildfitsurrey.co.uk/">Wildfit,</a> near Godstone that has been shortlisted for Outdoor Facility of the Year at the national fitness awards. Woo-hoo! The outdoor obstacle course laid out across open fields and woodland also offers kids&#8217; sessions and private events. We&#8217;ve got it all crossed for them. </p>

<p>But it&#8217;s sad news for the Muddy 2023 finalist the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DAPgKJjI1Jl/">The Potting Shed</a> in Limpsfield. Unfortunately the cute indie florist based in a courtyard has announced its closure. Watch this space for more news. One part of the partnership is set to launch a new floral business in Surrey soon.</p>

<p>News just in from Camberley. We&#8217;re told three new cafés are coming to town&#8217;s main shopping centre. <a href="https://esquirescoffee.co.uk/our-stores/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Esquires Coffee</a> &#8211; which already has cafés in Addlestone, Esher, Epsom, Dorking, Egham, Godalming, Guildford, Sutton and Walton-on-Thames &#8211; is opening in Camberley (and Cranleigh too, according to our sleuths). Expect ethical coffee, fresh cold press juices and fresh food including breakfast, brunch and cakes. </p>



<p>Fans of pretzels will be happy to know that <a href="https://www.auntieannes.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Auntie Anne&#8217;s</a> is also opening a branch in Camberley. The famous pretzel chain is already in Staines, Woking and Croydon. The third newcomer is <a href="https://www.luckybubble.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lucky Bubble</a>, makers of the popular bubble tea. </p>
