<p>Celebrate the Coronation at Foxhills with a <a href="https://www.foxhills.co.uk/news/kings-coronation-lawn-party-saturday-6th-may">quintessential lawn party</a> with a DJ, Pimms on tap, food from the Commonwealth and plenty of Royal-themed family entertainment. The Coronation will be shown live on a big screen at 11am. Cost is £40 adults, £20 children.</p>

<p>It’s the big weekend of King Charles III’s Coronation and Brooklands Museum is celebrating the <a href="https://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/whats-on/best-of-british" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Best of British</a> – from British manufacturing down to one of our best-loved characters, Paddington. There will be a host of British-built vehicles, a Royal Punch and Judy show, fairground rides, children’s entertainment, Morris dancing and a big brass band. <p>As you&#8217;d expect of a manor house that&#8217;s hosted some rip-roaring parties over the years, Polesden Lacey is fully on board with the Coronation. <a href="https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/surrey/polesden-lacey/events/040f8bc7-15a4-4da5-9dbb-fb8245ff4316" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Celebrate the Coronation</strong></a> will take place on all three days of the weekend, with themed events    as well as mini-golf, live music and a spring picnic. <p>Celebrate the Coronation weekend with a picnic and <a href="https://www.experienceguildford.com/event/the-cobham-band-castle-grounds-bandstand-concert/">Bandstand Concert</a> in the grounds of Guildford Castle. View the Japanese garden, rock garden and pleasure gardens, or take a leisurely stroll around the three lakes. Why not enjoy a picnic in the grounds to mark the King’s Coronation? You can complete as many laps of the picturesque wine estate as you like of the 3-mile course, with a 7-hour time limit, starting at 9am. <p>A totally quackers event, the <a href="https://waltonduckathon.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Walton Duckathon</a> will see more than 2,000 ducks make a bid for freedom, heading slowly towards the English Channel (well, somewhere past the Swan and The Anglers in Walton). <p>Head to the pretty Albury Organic Vineyard in Albury where you can enjoy a taste of the limited edition ‘King’s Coronation Magnum’. Just 100 bottles were made to celebrate the occasion so it&#8217;s a rare opportunity. The tasting will take you through the history of English wine making.
