THEATRE:&nbsp;<a href="https://www.rosetheatre.org/whats-on/305/from-the-creators-of-the-lion-inside/the-koala-who-could" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Koala Who Could</a> ■ Rose Theatre ■ on now until Sun 23 February A theatre show suitable for even the littlest theatre goers, following Kevin the Koala as he embraces the change in the jungle around him and teaches his fellow animals about trying new things. Most suitable for ages 3+, standard tickets cost £15 per person. Shows take place at 1pm and 10.30am.



THEATRE:&nbsp;<a href="https://www.guildford-shakespeare-company.co.uk/prideprejudice25/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pride &amp; Prejudice</a> ■ Guildford Shakespeare Company, Holy Trinity Church, Guildford ■ on now until Sat 1 March It is a universal truth acknowledged that Jane Austen’s&nbsp;Pride and Prejudice&nbsp;translated is fabulous on stage. And this adaptation by the Guildford Shakespeare Company is certainly one to see – returning to Guildford for an extra run in 2025 (read our 2024 review&nbsp;<a href="https://surrey.muddystilettos.co.uk/things-to-do/arts-culture-things-to-do/review-pride-and-prejudice-guildford-shakespeare-company/">here</a>). It follows the story of five Bennet sisters, their journey through the marriage market, and some supercilious bachelors in the search for ‘the one’. Standard tickets cost £28.50, and children £17.50.



EVENT:&nbsp;<a href="https://www.dorkinghalls.co.uk/event-detail/?id=456602ALGJGQVHNVRJRJHRJNBPMHVNCSJ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rude Science</a> ■ Dorking Halls ■ Mon 17 February For any little ones with a passion for STEM subjects, Gastronaut Stefan Gates’ show is packed with experiments that are both freakishly fascinating (some might say disgusting), and exceptionally educational. The show lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and is recommended for ages 5-14+, costing £20 for adults, with child and family discounts.



THEATRE:&nbsp;<a href="https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/the-shark-is-broken/richmond-theatre/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Shark is Broken</a> ■ Richmond Theatre ■ Mon 17 – Sat 22 February Set in 1974, in the middle of the ocean on a very small boat, this play follows the making of Hollywood’s first blockbuster and its ensuing drama. As the lead actors but-heads and compete for the spotlight, the success of the movie comes under threat. Tickets available from £15.



EVENT:&nbsp;<a href="https://eshertheatre-tickets.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/1173648832" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Princess Live!</a> ■ Esher Theatre ■ Mon 17 February Perfect for any little ones with a passion for princesses, with an hour long show of singing dancing and some influence from a certain fairy godmother. There will also be a post-show photo opportunity for anyone interested. Standard tickets cost £15, with shows at 12pm, 2.30pm and 5pm.

Can Grace save a collecting couple from sinister hands?&nbsp; Tickets are available from £15.

THEATRE:&nbsp;<a href="https://theleatherheadtheatre.com/whatson/national-theatre-live-the-importance-of-being-earnest/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">National Theatre Live: The Importance of Being Earnest</a> ■ The Leatherhead Theatre ■ Thurs 20 Feb Event cinema doesn’t get better than this as the Doctor himself (Ncuti Gatwa) joins three-time Olivier Award-winner Sharon D Clarke in a joyful reimagining of Oscar Wilde’s most celebrated comedy. It’s directed by Max Webster (Life of Pi) and filmed live from the National Theatre in London.&nbsp;<a href="https://theimportanceofbeingearnest.ntlive.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Also showing at other venues throughout Surrey.</a>

The most prestigious rooms will be open on a free-flow route with expert stewards sharing the history of West Horsley Place through the centuries.&nbsp;Fro 10am-4pm. Adults £12, children £6.
