Tucked away in the quaint village of Lower Eashing, just minutes off the A3, it was once a regular haunt for hunters, serving up hearty food, fine ales and a comfy bed. <p>This pretty 16th century inn located in the Surrey Hills near Godalming has boutique bedrooms and menus that focus squarely on local and seasonal produce. <p>A historic inn worth travelling for, the White Horse has a stylish bar and decadent restaurant dedicated to seasonal and sustainable dishes plus a whopping 56 boutique bedrooms. More than just a pub with rooms it’s got a hit of history &#8211; the 13th century coaching house is where Dickens wrote <em>The Pickwick Papers</em>&nbsp;in the mid 19th century. <p>As a getaway this is a classy choice &#8211; an award-winning gastropub with stylish interiors, and a changing menu that champions local and regional artisan suppliers. There are six individually designed bedrooms each one oozing elegance and luxury &#8211; we’re talking free-standing copper bathtubs, organic toiletries by Bramley and king-size beds. The interiors are full of stylish nooks and crannies with beautiful bold colours and designs, while outside there’s a lovely courtyard. But it’s not style over substance the food is also fantastic – the seasonal menu focuses on pub classics with a twist showcasing British produce.</p>

The large space houses a bright bar, café and a lounge, plus a&nbsp;restaurant that opens onto an outdoor terrace overlooking the garden with Coppa’s iconic igloos. The Grade II-listed building is rich in architectural heritage which has inspired the design. It&#8217;s a gorgeous mix of traditional and contemporary styling, blending interiors that nod to the history of the building while also introducing modern touches.
