Sitting pretty in 10 acres of gardens and grounds, this Grade II listed country house near Lingfield has caught our eye. But can you guess how much it's worth?

Are you sitting comfortably? Then follow me and we’ll begin.
Say hello to Stock Farm and this charming farmhouse that’s just overflowing with character. She’s thought to date back to the 1660s – and while there have been more recent additions, she’s still brimming with period features. We’re talking exposed timber wall and ceiling beams, oak panelling and original wooden flooring, lead light windows and inglenook fireplaces. It’s like stepping back in time!
She’s certainly a beaut. And a biggie. As well as the main house which is set out over three floor with seven bedrooms (yes, seven!) and four reception rooms plus a kitchen / breakfast room, there’s also an annex which could be used as a separate flat, home office, studio or gym.
But let’s go in through that fabulously sturdy front door.
Ahead of you there’s an attractive oak staircase and off to your right is a huge drawing room – over 34ft long – with a gorgeous inglenook fireplace.
Across the hall is a formal dining room, and off that to the front is the sitting room and to the rear is an impressive kitchen / breakfast room. There’s a separate utility room off the kitchen, as well as a rear hall, with a second staircase leading to the first floor.
Upstairs on the first floor you’ll find the master bedroom suite which includes a big panelled bedroom, a dressing room with fitted wardrobes and an ensuite shower room. There are four more bedrooms on this floor, as well as two bathrooms and on the second floor, there’s are two more bedrooms and another shower room.
From up here you’ll have a great view out over the grounds – which includes an in-ground swimming pool and a charming pond that’s surrounded by a mature orchard. There are terraced areas surrounding the house – perfect for sipping an al fresco G&T on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
Obviously, you’ll need somewhere to park the cars – and there’s an open barn which is used as a garage, as well as a log store and gardener’s bathroom.
And the location, location, location? Well, it’s down a long private driveway, about six miles from Oxted. There are a some good schools in the area, including Hazelwood and Hawthorns prep schools, Lingfield College and Caterham School. And from both Oxted and Limpsfield there are direct train links to London.
So what do you reckon? Have a thunk, get your price in your head and either comment below or check for yourself here.
