The ultimate lockdown house

Oh, I do love a sneaky snoop around someone else’s dream home. Don’t you? And you know I think I’ve found the best home ever to hole up in during lockdown.

Oh yes, lovely people, we’re talking hot tub, swimming pool and a sun-filled south facing garden with a mahoosive terrace (great for parties post lockdown, just sayin!).

Usual rules apply. I’ll show you round, drop in a few clues and you guess the price. First clue: you might need to break a few piggy banks to make an offer.

Shall we?

The Summer House is an impressive five bedder set out over a whopping 4,000ft. It’s set on a 1.8 acre plot, in the village of Limpsfield, and close to Oxted town centre.

The house has been extensively renovated and refurbished – and she’s shining like a pin with some serious wow factor.

Downstairs there’s a marvellous open plan kitchen breakfast room, a large double aspect sitting and dining room, and a large study which could also be used as another sitting room.

This is a house designed with parties in mind. Think vast light-filled rooms with floor-to-ceiling bifold doors that open onto a beautiful big terrace which lead to the heated swimming pool and hot tub.

Upstairs, there are five bedrooms including a master bedroom suite with a spacious en suite bathroom and a dressing room with plenty of built-in robes. There’s a Juliet balcony which looks out over the garden at the back.

As well as a family bathroom, one of the guest bedrooms also has an en ensuite bathroom.

More clues? Well, as you can see below, the gardens are extensive and offer lots of privacy. And location-wise you’re in a good spot – just seven minutes walk to Oxted station (which has direct links to central London).

So, how much do you reckon this perfect property costs? Go on, have a guess and click here to find out the real number!

£2,250,000 but is the swimming pool heated?

Yes! It would need to be heated in England – can’t imagine it would get much use otherwise! 🤣
