<p>All eyes are on <em>le gai Paree</em> this summer with the Olympic Games about to get underway, but it’s not all about the tricolour tracksuits. Sure, medals are great, but we’re here for the world-leading French fashion and indomitable French style too. From Françoise Hardy and Vanessa Paradis to Charlotte Gainsbourg and Camille Cottin, French stars rarely put a foot wrong in the fashion stakes, mixing masculine and feminine, steering clear of anything too matchy matchy or fussy and letting classic styles pick up the slack.
