This five-day drama camp is a deep dive into a world of gods, monsters and legendary quests. It’s designed for 7–11 year olds and explores a different mythological realm each day. The week builds to a family sharing performance on the final afternoon, showcasing everything the group has created. The themed camps include app development, coding and robotics, AI camp, musical theatre, woodland adventure, swim, hockey, netball, soccer, art, lacrosse, and multi-sports. Costs and times vary, depending on the camp. There are options for early drop-off at 8am and flexible pick-ups.

Join a high-energy week-long theatre camp where you’ll learn an entire show from scratch and perform it on stage at the end of the week &#8211; complete with costumes, professional sound and lighting, and a very proud audience of family and friends. Led by a team of industry professionals, it’s designed to build confidence, spark creativity and deliver a proper spotlight moment. Choose from Hairspray in Haslemere, or The Greatest Showman or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in Godalming. Open to ages 6–17, with a cost of £180 per week.



<a href="https://www.surreywildlifetrust.org/things-do/holiday-clubs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Wild Explorers Holiday Club </a> ■ Nower Wood Educational Centre, Leatherhead ■ Tuessdays &amp; Thursdays from 29 July &#8211; 20 August 2026 Suitable for children aged 5–11, the Wild Explorers Holiday Club is a popular choice and books up quickly &#8211; so it’s one to get in early if you’ve got a mini adventurer in mind. Jam-packed with outdoor fun, the club is all about getting children into nature through hands-on activities like woodland survival, pond dipping, minibeast hunting and Forest School-style exploration. Running from 9.30am–3.30pm, it’s a full day of fresh air, discovery and properly wild adventures. Cost is £50.

Participants will explore and investigate different habitats, learn how to safely use conservation tools, and discover how connecting with nature can benefit not just wildlife, but their own wellbeing too. Running on Wednesdays from 9.30am–3.30pm, the sessions cost £50.



<a href="https://www.megacamps.net/kids-activities-epsom.php" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mega Camps Epsom</a> ■ Blenheim School, Epsom ■ 27 July &#8211; 28 August 2026 Alongside all the usual camp favourites like sports, games and arts and crafts, Mega Camps also bring a different daily “Mega Activity” &#8211; think Nerf gun battles, magic workshops, archery and wet ‘n’ wild fun to keep things interesting. You can book anything from a single day to a full week, with camps designed for children aged 4–14. Sessions run from 9am–4pm as standard, with extended hours available from 8am–6pm for extra flexibility. Prices start from £49 per day, with discounts available for 3-day or full-week bookings.



<a href="https://www.rosetheatre.org/play-in-a-week-2026-tj3c" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Play in a Week</a> ■ The Rose Theatre, Kingston ■ Weekly from 27 July – 29 Aug For young actors ready to properly immerse themselves in theatre, these intensive performance courses offer a full week of creativity, confidence-building and time in the spotlight. Working alongside professional directors, participants are grouped by age and spend the week rehearsing and creating a scripted production to perform for family and friends at the end. Expect plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded performers, develop new skills and tackle some exciting stage challenges along the way &#8211; no audition or previous experience needed. This summer’s productions include Robin Hood (ages 11–13), Treasure Island and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (ages 11–16), plus Sleepy Hollow (ages 14–18) and Pride and Prejudice for older and younger groups.
