Are you ready to rock? What’s that, didn’t hear me? ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?

After being starved of any live music shows for the best part of a year, we’re bursting to shake our booty and lip-sync along to to some of the best power ballads in rock. And right on cue, the stage show Women in Rock pulls into Surrey bringing its high-voltage performance to Camberley Theatre on Sat 5 June.

Women in Rock are a trio of vocal powerhouses celebrating the music of female rock legends across five decades in a high-energy show that’s packed with dance, dazzle and dynamic sounds.

The girls – Jennifer Greene, Tanya Siefert and Ruby Sayre, all professional vocalists who have performed all over the world – front an authentic four-piece rock band (guitarist Alex Ward, David Lovell on bass, drummer Mick Neaves and Rob Lindop on keyboards) and belt out ballads from rock icons of days past to those still hitting the charts today. We’re talking Janis Joplin, Joan Jet and Stevie Nicks to Blondie, Cher, Avril Lavigne and Pink.

The Camberley show is their first back on tour since Covid put our collective social life on hold – so expect it to be big. Social distancing is being observed, which means fewer tickets are being sold. So that means be quick, because it’ll sell out fast.
