Fancy treating mum to one of the most decadent afternoon teas imaginable? Served in the 1905 Bar and Library, the menu designed by Jose Graziosi is full of tempting treats, light-as-air finger sandwiches and of course, freshly baked scones. We’re pleased to see lemon drizzle cake, passionfruit meringue tart AND double chocolate brownies all on the menu. Served in the historic Anne Boleyn drawing room, afternoon tea at the Great Fosters estate is a special affair indeed. From delicate bavarois to moreish eclairs, this experience is sure to make your mum feel extra spoilt! There is even a separate vegetarian afternoon tea menu, which veggies will appreciate is a real treat! The egg and cress bridge roll, pina colada macaroon and lime and elderflower tart all have our names on! Created by Head Chef Josh Mann, this three-rosette awarded afternoon tea can be enjoyed traditionally in The Mulberry with crisp white linen or, if you prefer, in one of the lounges for a more casual treat. Available daily from 12pm &#8211; 5pm, the afternoon tea can be enjoyed with or without champagne and Langshott Manor also offers gluten free and vegetarian options. We are obsessing over the mini beef and horseradish Yorkshire pudding and coffee choux bun – how delicious does that sound?! They&#8217;re doing things little differently at The Runnymede on Thames with a buffet style afternoon tea on Mother&#8217;s Day with bottomless fizz and refills of tea and coffee. It&#8217;ll be served in the Riverside Suite, which as the name suggests, has lovely views out over the river. Help yourself to finger sandwiches, homemade cakes, a towering stack of profiteroles with accompaniments of fruit coulis and chocolate sauce, plus scones with jam and cream from the buffet.
