<p>If you’re a lover of sushi, get your fix at&nbsp;Sushi Jun. But you’ll need to book ahead this restaurant has only a few tables. The tiny space on the corner of South Street specialises in stunning maki sushi, donburi as well as katsu curry.</p>

<p>This family run Sicilian restaurant on the outskirts of town has a rustic, cosy interior and lots of outdoor seating for summer visits. With an authentic menu prepared on site with fresh ingredients, food is always made to order. It&#8217;s well known for the fish specials, delivered daily and sumptuous meat dishes from all over the Sicilian regions. Book ahead as it’s a petite gem. (Note their on-site rooms are currently unavailable due to refurbishment.)</p>

<p>For something really special, head to nearby Wrecclesham for an intimate chef’s table experience at the hands of former&nbsp;<em>Masterchef</em>&nbsp;finalist Ben Piette. Inside the stunning 500-year-old building you’re treated to an intimate yet relaxed culinary experience which includes&nbsp;an 8 ‘ish’ course blind tasting menu that garners praise in the Michelin guide.</p>

<p>Newbie to the scene, Serina is sister restaurant to renowned Heaven&#8217;s Kitchen, (see above), and the esteemed Squirrel Inn in Hurtmore. With a chic cocktail bar downstairs, head upstairs for Mediterranean-inspired delights, there&#8217;s also a hidden terrace for summer sips.</p>
