The vineyard is near Albury, a short drive from Guildford.</p>

<p>Celebrating the 75th anniversary of C.S. The end of March is a beautiful time of year to visit as the pathway to the lake is bordered with Japanese cherry blossoms and the lawns are full of daffodils.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.denbies.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Denbies Wine Estate</a>, one of England’s largest vineyards, offers indoor wine tasting tours and outdoor vineyard train tours every day. There’s plenty to do at this wine estate just outside Dorking. On-site facilities include an art gallery, hotel, farm shop, restaurants, a wellbeing centre and bike hire. On Mother’s Day enjoy brunch in the panoramic third-floor Gallery Restaurant followed by an outdoor vineyard tour with a glass of Denbies&#8217; sparkling wine. You&#8217;ll go to the highest point of the vineyard where there are  breathtaking views across the estate. And for the little ones there is also a train ride and nature trail on the day.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-a-garden-walk-amongst-the-spring-flowers"><strong>A garden walk amongst the spring flowers</strong></h3>



<p>Treat mum to a day filled with beautiful spring blooms, sweet treats and shopping at <a href="https://www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/wisley" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">RHS Gardens Wisley</a>. There&#8217;s lots to see as carpets of early spring bulbs are at their best. Expect to see more than 200,000 crocus on the lawns in shades of purple and white. In the Pinetum, daffodils bring dazzling colour under the pines, and the Alpine Meadow is teeming with dainty spring blooms! <p>Explore the life of Croydon born Cicely Mary Barker, the creator of the <a href="https://www.wattsgallery.org.uk/exhibitions/flower-fairies" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Flower Fairies</a>, at Watts Gallery. First published in 1923, these botanically accurate fairies were inspired by real children that Cicely knew. See a selection of the original<em> </em>Flower Fairies alongside her personal sketches and family photographs at this artist’s village in the countryside outside Guildford. A great way to celebrate a fabulous woman with your fabulous mum!
