Baby it's cold outside and what better way to warm up than a feast somewhere fabulous? We're talking private pods, dining domes, igloos, roaring fires and winter wonderland terraces.

THE COURTYARD IGLOO: Café Chai, Banstead

Love this gorgeous Insta-worthy café on the High street in Banstead, but if you’re after something just a little more spesh, book the heated igloo in the garden. Think cosy sheepskin rugs, fresh foliage and twinkly lights. It’s available in two hour slots at 9am, 11.30am and 2pm for up to 8 people. Cost is £55 in total, which includes a glass of something lovely (wine, craft beer, Prosecco or soft drink).

THE HEATED BOOTHS: José Pizarro at the Swan Inn, Esher

It’s also the perfect spot to cosy up after a walk up Leith Hill.

Serving up sweet and savoury fondue and mulled wine, with fairy lights, heaters and blankets to keep things warm and cosy. Books are for tables of 2 to 8, and it’s for grown ups only.
